How it works
Enter a URL or a social handle. Bidriot identifies the project, shows you what it will cost to take the position you want, and puts you on the board the moment payment clears. Only verified, paid bids move the public leaderboard.
Competition
Every position on the board is contestable. Bids are public, increments are transparent, and the price to claim #1 is always computed from live activity — never a fixed number.
Discovery
Leaderboards, category pages and crawlable project profiles give every listed project a durable home on the web, with real metadata, rank history and internal links.
Distribution
A rank change is a story worth telling. Bidriot turns each one into a shareable moment, and tracks the traffic it brings back so you can see what the exposure is worth.
Ranking mechanics, in plain terms
- The first bid on an empty board starts at the configured minimum.
- Claiming #1 costs the current top bid plus one increment.
- Raising an existing bid only charges the difference.
- A bid being checked out is briefly reserved, so the next challenger sees a higher price — but the board itself is never frozen.
- Rank is only ever changed by a payment confirmed through our payment provider.
